I've been married now for 9 years to my husband, Bill. His career brought us up near Seattle in August of 2002 when the owner of the company he was working for in the Bay Area retired and sold his company to Microsoft. Since then, Bill has released his fourth version of MS Flight Sim, FSX, in October 2006. We built our first home in October of 2005 and our son Andrew has so many kids on our street to play with. It's a great place to be, but I miss family and our great friends still in CA. I've been pretty fortunate though to have made some really good friends up here too though to keep me company and I'm grateful for them.

My flying has been put on hold for a bit which breaks my heart because it makes me feel like nothing else can when I'm up there, but hopefully it won't be too long before I'm in the air again. I can't think of anything else that compares to when I've been all by myself way up high looking down at the hawks circling over the updrafts below me and knowing that I can feel just a little bit of what they must be feeling too.

And we had a new addition to our family in January, 2006… a little Sheltie puppy named Sara. I'd never had a dog before and she's so wonderful! I guess the only reason I waited so long was because I was waiting just for her. :) ~oh, so cheesy, I know~

Andrew is 11 years old now and just started the 6th grade in September, 2008. He loves his school and his teachers and has lots of friends there. He's already 5'5” tall, one of the tallest in his class, even though he's always one of the youngest. He's starting to see the advantage this gives him in basketball and I think he suddenly likes it a whole lot more now. He also loves soccer and really likes playing goalie. He started the local swim team this past summer as well and his swimmer mom is sooo proud she could burst while watching him and remembering back to when she was the one doing all the laps.

As for myself, I'm just continuing to try and learn more about whats really important in life, whats important to me, and trying to make sure the people I love the most know it…
